Learning
at KBPS
At KBPS, academics are designed to nurture the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Our programs grow with students from their toddler years through elementary school.

Inspired by the IB Primary Years Programme, we connect learning across subjects and real-life contexts so that children see patterns, make sense of the world, and understand how their learning fits together.

Early Childhood
Toddlers - Pre-K 4
Learning is guided by the Florida Early Learning Standards. Through thematic units, sensory exploration, and play-based centers, children build language, social-emotional skills, fine motor strength, and early Pre-Literacy and Mathematical Thinking.
Elementary
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade, Expanding to 5th!
We utilize the C-Palms platform for Florida standards, which includes the Florida B.E.S.T. standards for Language Arts and Mathematics. Our curriculum aligns with these standards and is delivered through high-quality programs like Superkids for reading and Sadlier Math. With small class sizes, we personalize instruction to support each learner’s needs and celebrate their unique learning journey.

The PYP curriculum framework
At KBPS, our curriculum nurtures the whole child—blending strong academics with social-emotional learning, creativity, and faith. We use research-based instruction rooted in joy, purpose, and real-world relevance to keep students engaged, curious, and thriving.

Inspired by the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), we encourage students to lead with curiosity, explore meaningful questions, and take ownership of their learning. Our instructional approach supports international-mindedness, deep thinking, and student agency while connecting academic content to global and local contexts.
A Unique Environment for Outdoor Learning
Outdoor learning is a key part of our identity. Students explore nature, care for our school garden, and participate in outdoor classroom experiences each week. These activities support academic concepts while nurturing responsibility, creativity, and environmental stewardship.
